He showed a glimpse of his talent when he got selected for the Tamil Nadu Under-14 Team and later for the Tamil Nadu Under-16 and Tamil Nadu Under-19.
In 2017, he represented Triplicane Friends United Cricket Club (TFUCC) in the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) third division.
In 2019, he played in Vijay Merchant and in Vinoo Mankad tournaments in which he made two centuries.
He represented India A Team in the 2019 Under-19 Challenging series where he played against Nepal and two other Indian teams.
In 2019, Chepauk Super Gillies acquired him for the 2019 Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), however he did not get any chance to play any match.

His batting in TNPL’s 2021 season impressed Indian Cricketer Ravi Chandran Ashwin who took to Twitter to request the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) to add him in the Tamil Nadu Team.
He made his Twenty20 debut on 4 November 2021, for Tamil Nadu in the 2021–22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy where he scored 35 runs and helped his team to win the tournament.
On 8 December 2021, he made his ODI debut for Tamil Nadu against Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy where he played a knock of 24 runs.

In the TNPL’s Acuction of 2023, he was bought by Lyca Kovai Kings for 21.60 lakhs and became a most expensive player in the tournament which was more than his IPL purse of 20 lakhs.
