Scott Michael Boland is an Australian professional cricketer who was born on 11 April 1989 in Mordialloc, Melbourne. He is a right-arm fast bowler who plays domestic cricket for the Victoria and the Melbourne Stars and international cricket for Australia.
Boland is one of the handful of outsmarting talented fast bowlers to play for Australia internationally, and as of December 2021, he is only the second Aboriginal player to have played Test cricket for Australia after Jason Gillespie.

Early Life
Scott Boland was born in Mordialloc, Melbourne, Victoria, and he completed his primary education at St John Vianney’s Primary School, Parkdale, and completed his higher education at St Bede’s College, Mentone.
He started his career in cricket at Parkdale Cricket Club. Boland played his first game for the club aged six in the under 12’s competition. After that, he never looked behind and continuously performed well at various cricket tournament levels.
He progressed through the ranks of Parkdale Cricket Club, and, at the age of 16, he joined Victorian Premier Cricket Club Frankston Peninsula to get more achievements in his cricket career.
Boland has played a total of 41 matches for his Parkdale Cricket Club where he took 31 wickets at an average of 12.35. Boland was motivated to focus more on his bowling after moving to Frankston, encouraged by his coach at the time, Nick Jewell.
After moving to Frankston Boland first two were not going well and he did not get many opportunities to play, in the first grade he just played only six matches where he clinched only three wickets.
