ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year

Pat Cummins

Australian Captain Pat Cummins was announced as the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy winner for the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year 2023.

Captain Pat Cummins known for inspiring others, showcased outstanding performance with both bat and ball, including a victory in the ICC World Test Championship Final and record sixth triumph in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2023

Virat Kohli

The Veteran Indian batter run machine Virat Kohli was crowned the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2023 for his exceptional year in the 50-over format.

He was selected as Player of the Tournament at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 and announced as the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2023.

The Indian batter had a perfect year as he scored many runs in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 at home World Cup. He also broke the record for most ODI hundreds during the year.

ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year 2023

Usman Khawaja

Usman Khawaja was named as the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year 2023. Khawaja edged out tough competition from teammate Travis Head, India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, and England’s Joe Root for the award after a successful year that concluded with Australia securing their inaugural ICC World Test Championship title.

He scored 1210 runs in 13 Tests in the year.

Rachael Heyhoe Flint Award for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year 2023

Nat Sciver Brunt

England’s all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt took home the Award for the second year in a row. The Year 2023 was yet another remarkable year for Sciver-Brunt, with some of her exceptional knocks coming during the home Ashes against Australia.

ICC Women’s ODI Cricket of the Year 2023

Chamari Athapaththu

Chamari Athapaththu, already leading the Women’s T20I and ODI sides of the year. By his remarkable performance, she added another feather to her cap by winning this feat.

Athapaththu was rewarded for her exceptional year with the bat in ODIs. The top-order batter from Sri Lanka played a pivotal role with the bat and as the captain, notably guiding his team to its first-ever bilateral series victory against New Zealand.

ICC Men’s Associate Cricketer of the Year 2023

Bas De Leede

Bas de Leede was named the ICC Men’s Associate Cricketer of the Year 2023 for his remarkable all-round run in the year. He was the standout player for the Netherlands at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 Qualifier and the World Cup in India.

ICC Women’s Associate Cricketer of the Year 2023

Qeenton Abel

Kenya’s women cricketer Queentor Abel made Kenya feel proud by winning the ICC Women’s Associate Cricketer of the Year for 2023. She clinched 30 T20I wickets at an unreal average of 7.36 and scored 476 T20I runs at 34.

ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year 2023

Suryakumar Yadav

For the second time successive, consecutive ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year award winner India’s T20I beast Suryakumar Yadav has been awarded the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year award

With his excellent, powerful, and elected mix of shots, Suryakumar dominated 2023 with an average that closed in on 50 and a strike rate exceeding 150.

The backbone of India’s middle order got started throughout the year, delivering multiple game-changing performances.

ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year 2023

Hayley Matthews

West Indian Cricketer Haley Matthews became just the second player to win the honour. Before this, former skipper Stafanie Taylor was the previous cricketer to have won this award in 2015.

Matthews further enhanced her reputation through some outstanding knocks with the bat and her sharp work with the ball. Her best performance was showcased against Australia in Australia.

ICC Men’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year 2023

Rachin Ravindra beat South Africa quick Gerald Coetzee, Sri Lanka pacer Dilshan Madushanka, and India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal for the prized award. He had an amazing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in India where he amassed a whopping 578 runs.

ICC Women’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year 2023

Litchfield edged out Bangladesh’s teenager Marufa Akter, England’s fast bowler Lauren Bell, and Scotland’s versatile player Darcey Carter to clinch the prestigious award.

Thanks to her outstanding performance over the past year as a key player in Australia’s formidable batting lineup.

ICC Spirit of Cricket Award 2023

During the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe, a heartwarming moment from the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe won the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award 2023.

West Indies’ Akeal Hosein was consoled by Zimbabwean players after his side lost a high-intensity match.

ICC Umpire of the Year 2023

Richard Illingworth

For the third time, Former England player Richard Illingworth received the David Shepherd Trophy for ICC Umpire of the Year and became the second Englishman to have won this honour, the other being Richard Kettleborough.

ICC Men’s Test Team of the Year 2023

The World Test Championship-winning Australian captain Pat Cummins leads the Test Team of the Year. He’s joined by companions, Usman Khawaja, Travis Head, Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc.

India’s spin duo, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are the frontline spinners. Joe Root and Stuart Broad from England are also included in the team, alongside Dimuth Karunaratne and Kane Williamson, who gets his positions in the top three.
