The 16th Tata IPL 2023 season of the Indian Premier League, the world’s most entertaining and expensive T20 cricket league, has concluded. The final match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) on 29 May 2023 in which Chennai Super Kings won the match by five wickets and won the IPL title for the fifth time and the most in the Indian Premier League history and equaled the Mumbai Indians records.

IPL 2024 Winner: Kolkata Knight Riders:
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) became the IPL 2024 champions and won their third IPL title by defeating in-form Sunrises Hyderabad in the final match which was played on the 26th May 2024 at the MA. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. KKR’s captain Shreyas Iyer led the team to victory. KKR star bowler Mitchell Starc played a crucial role and took important wickets in the match and restricted the SRH team to a low total of 113 runs. KKR chased down the target easily in 10.3 overs with 8 wickets remaining and became the champions.
IPL 2023 Winner: Chennai Super Kings:
Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the IPL 2023 in a rain-affected match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Chasing a hefty target of 215 runs against GT, CSK made a successful run chase with four runs on the board in the first over. Shortly, after the match was stopped due to rain with only one over & three balls.

Batting first after losing the toss, Chennai scored 192 runs losing 3 wickets. In that match, Faf Du Plessis played a helpful innings of 86 runs while Moeen Ali had an unbeaten 37 runs. In reply, despite having a great start they could not go beyond 165/9. Shardul Thakur took a maximum of 3 wickets for CSK.

IPL 2018 Winner: Chennai Super Kings:
Chennai Super Kings became the second team to win more than two IPL trophies. Experienced Ambati Rayudu and Shane Watson were the batting backbone of this team. Dhoni played the role of the best finisher this time too as like always. The final of the 2018 IPL season is between CSK vs SRH. In that match, SRH set a target of 179 for CSK, while in reply Chennai Super Kings won the match by 8 wickets and 9 balls left.

The final clash of the IPL 2014 season is between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings, it’s a high-scoring game where Punjab gives a target of 200 for KKR. In reply, KKR batting lineup managed to chase down the target by 3 wickets with 3 balls remaining.
