The IPL 2025 Mega Auction is scheduled to be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah. 574 players have been shortlisted for the auction. The 10 teams were vying for these players across 204 slots. IPL 2025 Mega Auction Date & Time

The IPL 2025 Mega Auction will be scheduled for two days where day one will be held on 24th November yesterday and the second one will be today on 25th November at 12:30 PM in Jeddah Tower. The IPL 2025 auction is an opportunity for the 10 IPL teams to build the core of their squads for the next three seasons.

IPL 2025 Mega Auction Day 1 Highlights

Day 1 of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction was an electrifying event, as franchises spent big to bolster their teams for the upcoming season.

The record-breaking deal for Rishabh Pant was the biggest highlight of the auction, he went as the most expensive player at the auction staggering price of ₹27 Crore. 

His signing with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) sparked an intense bidding war, with other teams vying to secure the top talent an offer.

IPL 2025 Auction Day 2: Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the most expensive buy of Day 2 as he was taken by RCB for INR 10.75 crore. 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made waves as RR bought him for INR 1.10 crore. IPL legend David Warner went unsold, marking the end of an era.

The second day of the IPL marked the end of an era. David Warner, who had played every IPL season since 2009 except 2018, went unsold at 38 after retiring from international cricket this year. Joining him on the unsold list were Kiwi legend Kane Williamson and England’s James Anderson, who wasn’t picked during the accelerated auction.
