Womens Premier League 2024 Schedule
The second edition of the Women’s Premier League is scheduled from February 23 to March 17. These Women’s T20 Cricket Tournament will be played in Delhi and Bengaluru. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Tuesday.
The WPL 2024 will kick off and start with defending champions Mumbai Indians facing last year’s finalists Delhi Capitals in Bengaluru.
Similar to the previous year, five teams are participating in WPL 2024. In addition to Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and UP Warriorz will also be vying for victory.
Until 4 March, all the matches will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will host the remaining matches of the tournament.
A total of 22 matches will be played, including the eliminator and the final. The team leading the points table will secure a direct entry into the Final. The opponents of these teams may determined by the eliminator matches, played between the second and third-placed teams in the table.
There will be no double-headers, and only one WPL match is scheduled each day until the league stage ends. All matches will commence at 7:30 PM IST.
